Request and track cross-connects, remote hands, and other services.

Overview

Service Orders handle cross-connects, remote hands, and other tenant services. Request a service, track status, and receive completion confirmation.

Service types include cross-connects (fiber, copper), remote hands (reboots, cabling), smart hands, and equipment installs. Each has a workflow and SLA.

Service orders flow into ColoComplete work orders. Operations staff process requests and deliver services. Tenants track progress in the portal.

How to Use

  1. Create a service order from the Site Portal. Select type (cross-connect, remote hands, etc.). Fill in details.
  2. Track status. See when the request is received, scheduled, in progress, and completed.
  3. For personnel: Process service orders. Create work orders in ColoComplete. Assign and complete.
  4. Receive confirmation when done. Documentation and evidence are attached when applicable.

This feature is used differently depending on your role:

Tenants
Request services, track status.
Personnel
Process requests, create work orders, complete services.
