Overview
Badge Management handles the issuance, tracking, and lifecycle of physical access badges. Issue badges to tenants and personnel, track status, and manage revocations.
Each badge is linked to a person and has an expiration date. Badges can be deactivated when access is revoked. Audit trail tracks all badge events.
The universal badge works across all GridColo-managed facilities. One badge for multiple sites.
How to Use
- Issue a badge. Link to a person, set expiration, assign access zones. Print or encode the physical badge.
- Track badge status. Active, expired, lost, revoked. Update as needed.
- Revoke access. Deactivate the badge when someone leaves or access is no longer needed. Audit trail records the change.
- Report on badges. Who has badges? When do they expire? Compliance and audit reports.
