Overview
Universal Credentials mean one badge works at all GridColo-managed facilities. Tenants and personnel carry a single credential for multi-site access.
No site-specific badges. When you have access to multiple GridColo sites, the same badge works at all of them. Simplifies credential management and improves user experience.
Access is still controlled per site. Your badge grants access only to zones you are authorized for at each site. Universal does not mean unrestricted.
How to Use
- Receive a GridPass badge when you become a tenant or personnel at a GridColo-managed facility.
- Use the same badge at all GridColo sites you have access to. Badge readers recognize the credential.
- Access is granted per site policy. New site access requires admin to add you. Badge works once added.
- Lost or stolen? Report immediately. Badge can be deactivated across all sites at once.
User Roles
This feature is used differently depending on your role:
- Tenants
- One badge for all sites. Simplified access.
- Personnel
- One badge for all assigned facilities.
