Solution Builder

Feature in GridCore

Multi-step wizard to define solutions with modules and interconnects.

Overview

The Solution Builder is a multi-step wizard to define infrastructure solutions. Combine modules (power, cooling, connectivity) into repeatable patterns that can be published and deployed.

Solutions represent standard builds: a colocation row, a hyperscale hall, or a modular edge configuration. Define modules, interconnects, and deployment parameters.

Once built, solutions can be versioned, shared, and used as templates for ComputeComplete projects. Reduce design time and ensure consistency.

How to Use

  1. Create a new solution. Name it and choose a category (e.g., colocation, hyperscale, edge).
  2. Add modules. Select from the module library or create new ones. Define quantities and specifications.
  3. Define interconnects. How do modules connect? Power, cooling, networking. Add dependencies.
  4. Configure deployment parameters. What site types does this apply to? What Vendor Network offerings are recommended?
  5. Save and publish. The solution becomes available for deployment through ComputeComplete.

User Roles

This feature is used differently depending on your role:

Solution architects
Design solutions, define modules, publish for reuse.
Pre-sales engineers
Use solutions for proposals and sizing.
