Overview
Asset Lifecycle tracks assets across sites, links them to maintenance and compliance evidence, and maintains a complete history from deployment through decommission.
Assets can be created from BOM items during deployment or added manually. Each asset has a type, location, and lifecycle state.
Maintenance records, compliance evidence, and service history attach to assets. GridTwin can visualize asset locations. GridServ links service orders to assets.
How to Use
- Create assets from the Operate phase. Link to BOM items when assets are deployed from a project. Add manual assets for existing equipment.
- Assign assets to sites, buildings, and rooms. This enables location-based views in GridTwin and reporting.
- Attach maintenance records and compliance evidence. When work is performed (via GridServ or manually), link it to the asset.
- Track lifecycle state: deployed, in service, under maintenance, decommissioned. Update as assets move through their lifecycle.
