Coming Soon service-orders maintenance dispatch sla cmms

GridServ is the service management and maintenance platform for the GridSite ecosystem. It handles service orders, preventive maintenance scheduling, technician dispatch, checklist execution, evidence capture, SLA tracking, and the construction of a complete asset service history.

What It Is

GridServ is the operational backbone for service delivery and maintenance management. It manages the full lifecycle of service work — from request or scheduled trigger through assignment, dispatch, execution, verification, and closure. It supports both reactive service orders (break-fix, incident-driven, customer-requested) and proactive preventive maintenance (scheduled inspections, calibrations, replacements, and compliance-driven tasks).

Every service order includes structured fields for assets, locations, priority, SLA targets, assigned technicians, checklists, parts consumption, time tracking, photo and evidence capture, and customer sign-off. Completed work feeds into a durable asset service history that supports warranty tracking, compliance evidence, and total cost of ownership analysis.

Why It Matters

Service delivery and maintenance are the operational heartbeat of facility and technology environments. Without a structured service management platform, work is tracked in spreadsheets, email, or tribal knowledge. Preventive maintenance gets missed. SLA compliance is unmeasurable. Asset service histories are incomplete. Technician utilization is invisible.

GridServ provides the structure and visibility that operations teams need. Every piece of work is tracked, measured, and linked to the assets and locations it affects. SLA performance is monitored in real time. Preventive maintenance schedules are enforced. Technicians are dispatched efficiently using location data from GridTrack. Parts consumption ties back to procurement in GridSupply. And the resulting service history becomes a strategic asset for planning, budgeting, and compliance.

Key Capabilities

Service Order Management

Create, assign, prioritize, and track service orders with structured fields for assets, locations, contacts, and SLA targets.

Preventive Maintenance Scheduling

Calendar-based, meter-based, and condition-based PM schedules with automatic work order generation and compliance tracking.

Technician Dispatch

Assign and dispatch technicians with skill matching, availability checking, and location-aware routing through GridTrack.

Checklists & Procedures

Configurable inspection checklists, step-by-step procedures, required evidence points, and pass/fail criteria.

Evidence & Documentation

Photo capture, time-stamped notes, part consumption logging, customer sign-off, and closure documentation.

SLA Tracking & Reporting

Response time, resolution time, first-time fix rate, SLA compliance dashboards, and performance trending.

How It Ties Into the Ecosystem

GridServ receives service triggers from GridCommand incidents and GridPolicy automations. It dispatches technicians using location intelligence from GridTrack. Parts and materials are sourced through GridSupply procurement. Professional service escalations route to GridPro. Asset context and digital twin overlays come from GridTwin. Service history feeds into GridIntegrate for lifecycle recordkeeping.

Example Workflows

  • An incident in GridCommand generates a service order, a technician is dispatched based on GridTrack proximity, and the completed work is logged against the asset's service history.
  • A preventive maintenance schedule triggers a monthly HVAC inspection with a required checklist, photo evidence, and filter replacement confirmation.
  • A customer submits a service request through the portal, it is triaged and assigned, the technician completes a checklist and captures sign-off, and the SLA metrics are recorded.
  • A warranty claim is supported by the complete service history showing all maintenance performed, parts replaced, and evidence captured through GridServ.
  • An operations director reviews SLA compliance dashboards showing response times, resolution rates, and technician utilization across all sites.
