GridCity

City-Scale Resilience

Coming Soon city resilience responders infrastructure municipal

GridCity is a city-scale critical facilities and community resilience platform. It provides citywide facility directories, shared situational awareness for responders, emergency alerts governance, tip reporting, and disaster resource coordination.

What It Is

GridCity is a city-scale critical facilities and community resilience platform. It provides a city-level directory of critical facilities (public and private), shared situational awareness views for responders via GridTwin overlays, city-level emergency alerts and subscription governance, "see something say something" reporting at city scale, and disaster resource coordination. Municipal departments can upload plans and annotate landmarks.

Why It Matters

Cities need a unified view of their critical infrastructure—schools, hospitals, data centers, utilities, and shelters. Emergency responders need pre-incident facility knowledge. Community members need ways to report concerns. During disasters, resource coordination saves lives. GridCity provides the city-scale counterpart to facility-level management.

Key Capabilities

Citywide Facility Directory

Critical facility profiles with readiness scores, responder info, and assistance offerings.

Responder Situational Awareness

Shared twin overlays with annotated landmarks, quick sheets, and incident staging info.

Citywide Alerts Governance

Public, code-based, approved, and geo-based alert subscription models with channel policies.

Tip Reporting at Scale

Community-facing "see something say something" intake with triage and department routing.

Disaster Resource Coordination

Wi-Fi, EV charging, cooling/warming, shelter, water, and medical aid with live status.

Role-Based Views

City admin, emergency management, dispatch, facility partner, and community member personas.

How It Ties Into the Ecosystem

GridCity integrates with GridCommand for incident creation, GridTwin for shared facility views, GridPolicy for automation rules, GridIntegrate for data sources, and GridStation for alert endpoints.

Example Workflows

  • A city emergency manager reviews readiness scores across 45 critical facilities and identifies gaps in responder preparedness.
  • An emergency responder searches for the closest critical facilities with available twin views and downloads quick sheets before arriving.
  • A community member submits a tip about suspicious activity near a school, which is triaged and routed to the appropriate department.
  • During a heat emergency, the city activates cooling stations and water distribution points across 8 zones with real-time status updates.
