Colocation Operations

Active resources work-orders capacity

Colocation facility management for self-managed sites. Resource allocation, work orders, capacity planning, and operational visibility for colocation providers.

What It Is

ColoComplete is the operations platform for colocation providers who self-manage their facilities. It provides resource allocation (cabinets, power, connectivity), work order management, capacity planning, and operational dashboards. Organizations with self-managed sites use ColoComplete to track inventory, assign resources to customers, process work orders, and maintain visibility across multiple facilities.

ColoComplete is part of the Colo Portal family—alongside the tenant-facing Site Portal and the Powered by GridColo management services. It serves the operator side of colocation: the teams that run the facility day-to-day.

Why It Matters

Colocation operators need to know what capacity is available, what has been allocated, what work is pending, and how sites are performing. Without a dedicated operations platform, this information lives in spreadsheets, DCIM tools, or tribal knowledge. ColoComplete provides structured resource and work management with integration to the broader GridWare ecosystem.

Key Capabilities

Resource Allocation

Track cabinets, power, and connectivity; allocate to customers; manage availability.

Work Orders

Create, assign, and track work orders for installations, moves, and maintenance.

Capacity Planning

View utilization, forecast capacity, and plan expansions.

Multi-Site Visibility

Operational dashboards across self-managed sites.

How It Ties Into the Ecosystem

ColoComplete connects to Marketplace for colocation offerings, ComputeComplete for project context, and Site Portal for tenant-facing workflows. Resource data can feed GridTwin for visualization and GridIntegrate for external system sync.

Example Workflows

  • Allocate cabinet and power to a new customer and track installation work orders.
  • Review capacity utilization across sites and plan for expansion.
  • Process work orders for cross-connects, power upgrades, and decommissions.
